A Smile

What makes you laugh, cry, and open your heart?

Childern — as they play; the street children -dirty, hungry, half clothed, but still happy and inocent, a smile on their face enjoying the simplest of things most people overlook in the business of their daily grind; happy, despite their circumstances; sad, because of what they long to have. Family? Food? Clothes? A place to sleep? Education? A better future? A simple toy? What can we do to help? My heart aches for them, but leaps for joy when I realize they can still smile.
